Before you get in touch.
Usually yes, because an unfavourable term is easier to change before signing than to challenge later. A review gives you a clear picture of what you are signing and which risks you are taking on.
Most often a written demand with a deadline for payment. If the claim remains unpaid, enforcement or civil proceedings are started, depending on the documents you have. It is important not to wait too long, because claims become time-barred.
The Civil Obligations Act (Zakon o obveznim odnosima) sets limitation periods that depend on the type of damage and on when you learned of the damage and who caused it. It is therefore best to get in touch early, so that no deadline is missed.
Under the Attorney Fee Tariff (Odvjetnička tarifa), depending on the scope of the work and the value of the matter. We agree on the amount in advance, and in a dispute part of the costs can be claimed from the other side if you succeed.
