1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

• data you enter in the enquiry form: full name, email, phone (optional), practice area and the content of your enquiry,
• data from messages you send us by email or WhatsApp,
• technical data needed for the website to work, such as IP addresses in the hosting provider's logs.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use enquiry data only to reply to you and, if you wish, to arrange our cooperation. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Analytics cookies are used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and technical error reports on the basis of our legitimate interest in a working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Attorney-client privilege

Everything you entrust to us is kept confidential under attorney-client privilege, even if we do not end up working together.

5. How long we keep data

Data from enquiries that do not lead to an engagement is kept for no longer than two years from the last communication, unless the law requires longer retention. After that it is deleted.

6. Who processes data on our behalf

We use trusted service providers, with appropriate contracts and safeguards: Cloudflare (website hosting and database), Resend (sending email from the form), Sentry (reports of technical errors on the website, no cookies) and, only with your consent, PostHog (visit analytics, servers in the EU). The office map loads from Google Maps only once you accept cookies or open it yourself. We do not sell data or share it for marketing.

7. Your rights

• the right of access and rectification,
• the right to erasure and restriction of processing,
• the right to object and to data portability,
• the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Send your request to info@odvjetnikbarbir.com. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
